Description: This is one lot of FIVE identical 1979 boxing posters (see picture) advertising the bout between THOMAS HEARNS and SANSAEK MUANGSURIN, held on October 18, 1979 in Detroit's old OLYMPIA STADIUM. Hearns won the fight with a third round TKO of Muangsurin, and many boxing experts believe this was one of Hearn's best fights of his career. These original posters are 8 1/2 inches by 11 inches in size, and made of thin paper--probably meant to be hung on bulletin boards in gyms and other public places. They are clean and intact, exhibiting little wear or creasing from handling and storage over the past 44 years. They would make a nice addition to your own collection, or they would make a wonderful gift for that Thomas Hearns or Sansaek Muangsurin enthusiast, boxing historian, or vintage poster collector in your life!
