Description: I am offering for sale a collection inherited from my grandfather-in-law, which dates back 55 years to the 1970s. We do not actively collect these items; rather, we retain a few select pieces for sentimental reasons. The collection includes arrowheads from the Apache Indians, sourced from Apache Junction, Arizona, located at the base of the Superstition Mountains. These artifacts are likely crafted from "Flint," specifically a red Dacite stone, which is characterized by its reddish to brown or black hues, reflective of the geological composition of the Superstition Mountain range. These exquisite Apache weapons were handmade and sold in the 1970s by a Native American vendor who operated a street stand in the Apache Junction area, adjacent to the property we owned at that time, a portion of which we still possess today. The vendor offered a variety of native handmade items to tourists and visitors from this stand. It appears that my grandfather-in-law was a frequent patron, acquiring numerous pieces. Please refer to all provided images for further details. Sales are limited to the USA, and I also ship to P.O. Boxes. A tracking number will be included in the shipping fee. Thank you for your interest.
