All radios sold by United Radio are shipped in an unlocked state (VIN Cleared) where applicable. Radios that utilize a VIN lock will lock to the first vehicle you install them in, and cannot be moved to another vehicle after installation. Q: Does this radio need an unlock code? A: Many factory radios utilize an anti-theft feature by requiring a 4-6 digit lock code that must be entered whenever the radio is removed from the vehicle. All radios sold by United Radio will ship with this lock code where applicable. If your radio requires a lock code but you did not receive one please contact us with the part number and serial number off your radio and we will provide the code for you.
