These camshafts are designed to increase power without sacrificing low-end torque and are great choice for heavier vehicles such as Silverado, Sierra, Yukon, Tahoe, Suburban, Escalade, etc. it were designed with low lift so standard beehive springs and OE pushrods can be used, making these the most affordable truck cams available. The stage II cam has more of a noticeable idle, with even more average torque production than the stage I cam, at the sacrifice of some low end torque and fuel mileage.
