BACKGROUND As a young boy, Amram Ebgi immigrated to Israel under the Youth Allia program under the auspices of Cafar Blum Kibbutz. Amram was a painter and a graphic artist for the kibbutz and the official stage designer for the Organization Kibbutzim in Israel. In 1969, Amram came to the United States after receiv-ing a scholarship to study at the Brooklyn Museum School of Art, New York. His dedication to the graphic arts developed while at the Pratt Graphic Center for Contemporary Printmaking, N.Y.C., where Amram studied with the two well known reachers Andrew Stasik and Vasilios A. Toulis. Most recently, he attended the prestigious Illustrators and Designers Workshop in Paris, France. AWARDS Scholarship and Certificate of Honor from the Israeli American cultural fund. Scholarship to the Tel Chai Institute, Israel. Scholarship to the Brooklyn Museum, Art School, N.Y. Selected as one of four exceptional artists in Graphic art by Mr. Schmutzhart of the Cor-coran School of Art, Washington, D.C.
