Description: Late 1940’s or early 50’s Blazer/Jacket made for Bond on Fifth Avenue. The Bond Department Store opened in 1947 and this Blazer dates to that exact time. Made in Rochester NY. This is a lovely plaid in brown, beige and burnt orange with a light textured slub. The jacket can be worn two ways: slightly open with double buttons or closed with a single buttoned. In very good condition with few small holes (easily repaired but sold here as is) - one located below buttons to left hand side - two inside lapel - tow on upper back near neckline. This is just a gorgeous well made blazer with that perfect 40’s hourglass shape! Great with jeans or teamed with dress pants or skirt. Shown in pics over a simple LBD. Measured Flat: Waist 17.5”, Pit to pit 19.5” and well darted chest (My friend is a 36DD and this fits her chest) Broad well padded shoulders that measure almost 17” across. Almost 24” length from back of neck. Please compare these measurements to a blazer you own. I am happy to answer questions and provide more photos if needed.
