Description: This comes from the collection of a West Virginia State Policeman Stationed at Romney WV. It features four letters all signed in fountain pen by future Supreme Court Chief Justice Fred M. Vinson. The first is typed and addressed to the Policeman and the other three are mimeographed copies of commendation letters sent to WV Governor, WV Congressman and the trooper's supervisor. As you can see by slight differences in each signature, they were not autopen copies.
