VERY GOOD (Fairly nice condition, shows some wear, has a few to several flaws), or GOOD (Used, shows lots of wear, several to many flaws). This is NOT a copy or reproduction of a classic photo, but the ACTUAL VINTAGE PHOTOGRAPH produced by the movie studio to promote a film and/or star. This is an authentic movie studio photograph from the time period represented by the photo, used for publicity and promotional purposes at the time of the movie's release. Movie photos (or stills) were produced in limited numbers, and sent from the studio's publicity department to select theaters and the contemporary newspaper wire services, which has led to them sometimes being referred to as "Wire Photos". These pictures were taken by some of the most talented photographers in the world, and are really works of art in their own right. They were printed in limited quantities, and in the cases of some key book stills, large double weight photographs, and even standard 8 X 10s in excellent condition, fewer than 10 prints may exist today.
