Description: Want to add an instant vintage look to your Christmas crafts or villages? It's mica flakes! Since I started using them years ago I've found a lot of uses for them. They're not just for Christmas, they look great on Easter rabbits and Halloween ghosts. Just spray on or brush on a craft glue and sprinkle. It's a wonderful way to make some inexpensive ornaments out of a bunch of pinecones if you live in pinecone country. Or when laying out your Christmas village, sprinkle mica flakes everywhere as a final touch, really glistens and looks like snow. Mica flakes are not pristine snow white but a more pearly white with a few darker flecks mixed in. But these are really large nice white ones that are pretty regular in size. If they turn out to be a little too large for your project you can easily crush them in a ziplock bag with a hammer or other heavy object. Do this with a grinding rather than hammering motion as if you were using a mortar and pestle. This listing is for 4 ounces.. They are sold by weight and not volume. You will receive 4 individual one ounce bags. Packaged in a 4 by 6 inch clear resealable bag. (ignore the glass glitter sticker it's labeled with--I ran out of mica stickers for now!)And sorry to have raised my mica price for the first time since 2008. I bought a ton of mica at a good price (literally a ton!) and always passed that savings on. But now with a new supplier have had to raise my price.
