Description: Famous Musicians Red Holloway, John Mayall and The Bluesbreakers, Victor Gaskin, Freddie Robinson, Toots Thielemans & Jimmy Dean--Rare Home Movies (Four) 50-foot 8mm Kodachrome films (no sound) that approximately date between 1966 and 1973. Excellent condition, no vinegar odor. Footage is mostly when Red was on tour and some seems to be in Germany and New Zealand. Two of the films were shot in 1973 while Red was on tour with John Mayall and The Bluesbreakers. You’ll see a few shots of members of the band including Victor Gaskin (bass) and Freddie Robinson (guitar). Another film was shot at a Jimmy Dean stage show where Red can be seen in the pit orchestra. Dean’s guest that night was Toots Thielemans (harmonica). Toots was a regular on the Jimmy Dean Show. This is another great reel of film. The final reel contains a fantastic segment shot in a nightclub. I don’t recognize the female singer. There are several great shots of her very close to the camera as she performs. Also I have had each reel clean, digitized, color corrected and put into high definition and considerable expense. You will receive these reels AND digitized downloads for yourself, saving you additional money.Most of the footage involves the sights and hotel rooms during the tour. Some footage needed a light and tends to be darker because of being in club venues or on an airplane. But this is some pretty rare stuff. I pay domestic shipping.Below is a breakdown of each reel.
