Description: Rare circa 1962-1968 Ping Scottsdale 2A putter with original chrome plated iron shaft and Tack Mac Paddle Grip Putter is 35.5 inches in length with a small '19" stamped on its sole. Head is clean of any major/significant bag chatter, gauges, dents or other mars. These heads were wet sand casted, so may have some pitting from the casting process. Each head was hand shaped to ensure conformity to Karsten's standards of weight and balance. Its shaft is that of a golf iron (as this what Karsten could procure) so has a varying first step lengths. This putter has a 11 1/4 inch first step and a slight bend near head, so putter is Right Handed. Putter is in excellent/very good shape for on that is close to 60 years old. The Scottsdale 2A putters were some of the first putters made at the Scottsdale location after Karsten's move from Redwood City. Attempted to capture everything in pictures.
