It shows nice use and patination. It is made from a beautiful wirey Granite material. It will free stand on both the top and bottom. This is one of those pieces that is very hard to picture, but is a beautiful, symmetrical, finely made artifact. It will pleasantly surprise upon delivery. The top of this piece is fluted and the raised grooves really make this piece stand out in a group. Axes from this area are generally not this nice, and this one is in wonderful condition. It has one tiny bit ding, but it is barely noticeable and is an otherwise outstanding artifact. I have no doubt it will make an excellent addition to any authentic collection.
