Description: Time to get some of this stuff that's been lying around on our desk, taking up space, outta here. Thought you space fans might want these. You get three, original, John Glenn for United States Senate campaign buttons for one money. They are 1.75" litho pins from the Ohio native who was the first American to orbit the Earth, the first Senator to go into space and the oldest person ever to do such a thing. (Even though MOST senators and congress persons are space cadets with little grounding in the real world we all live in). These are "official" campaign pins with the disclaimer printed on the curl, or edge; "Citizens for John Glenn Columbus, Ohio" followed by a union "bug." We can't remember if these are from 1970 when he lost 51% to 49% in the democrat primary to Howard Metzenbaum, or from 1974 when he defeated Metzenbaum 54% to 46% in the primary and then beat his republican opponent, Ralph Perk, in the fall. Either way, they are in nice condition but please enlarge our images to judge condition for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. S & H on this will be $4.50 sent well-protected first class with tracking. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence, and we'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases even though eBay says we won't. Just request a revised invoice from us before paying.
