Description: This Castle gate tower is great for any historical Samurai tabletop game like - Test of Honour, Torii, Kensei, Bushido, Ronin. The castle Gate tower is part of a modular Samurai Castle which includes the Gate tower itself, the corner tower and castle walls. They are a fantastic modular set when combined or the gate tower makes a great piece of terrain itself. Designed by 3d alien worlds and sold under license. In total, the whole structure (base walls and building together) measure approximately 26cm x 22cm (10.5" x 9"), with a total height of 18cm (7"). The gate tower building is a one-storey structure panelled in wooden slats, modelled after the famous wooden yagura towers of Kumamoto Castle. It measures approximately 24cm x 12cm (11.5"x5"), and stands 11cm (4.5") tall, and has a fully detailed interior and two functioning doors. Window shutters are included, and can be modelled opened or closed. The base sections are designed to be used in combination with the Castle Walls set, and can be connected using either the 3D-printed clips or with 5mm x 1mm magnets. The base layout has a central tunnel from ground level, passing through a large double gate, before sloping up and forking left and right, to end at 75mm (3") above ground level. Small sections of tiled walls are also included, to fit neatly against other adjacent wall sections. The colour photos show the gate tower combined with other parts of the castle (which are not included in this auction) to show what can be done with the kits when merged. You get the complete gate tower itself in this listing which is shown in several of its sections in the black and white photos with a 28mm samurai miniature to show scale. Printing on this item takes 5 to 10 working days depending on my print queue. If you would like a more accurate eta please message before purchase. Please be aware this set is huge and has a 178 hour print time. I split this over multiple printers but if I have other jobs as well it can take up to the full 10 working days to print Comes Unpainted and unassembled. Any samurai miniature is not included and only there to show scale. I can supply any 3d alien words item so if you don't see what you want in my items please do message me for a free quote. Please be aware that fdm printers can leave some fine layer lines and minor imperfections. The item you are viewing was printed at.2 layerlines.. We can print finer (but it costs more), but most wargamers find .2 acceptable for terrain. If you require finer layer lines then please contact us for a quote. Everything is currently printed in PLA, colour may vary. If you need a specific colour please message first before buying. We do everything we can to minimise layer lines and you can file or sand them out yourself. Any lines we personally don't want on pieces weprint for my personnel use we use a mix of a knife doing a flashingtechnique like on a gw model and minimal filing. Or you can prime and paint straight away. In most cases they are hardly visible after painting. We always recommend a little prep work before you prime them.
