Description: This is a circulated 2021 $1 bill with a fancy serial number representing the favored US format (MMDDYYYY) date July 07, 1758. H 07071758 B This date in history, was the second day of lead up to the larger battle of Ft. Ticonderoga of 1758, during the Seven Years War (French and Indian War.) July 07th marked the arrival/advance of the main British force to the area of Fort Carillon (later Ft Ticonderoga.) After reconnaissance on the French position, the British decided they would attack the fort the next morning, hoping to take the position before the French reinforcements, scheduled to be on their way, arrived. It didn't go well for the British the following day and after the bloodiest battle of the campaign, the French were victorious. Thank you for looking.
