The Royal mint issued a 10 coin series beginning in 2016 featuring each of the Queen's beasts designed by famed artist Jody Clark. The the Lion of England was the first coin released in 2016. The series ended in 2021 with the release of the White Greyhound of Richmond. The Unicorn was attributed to King James I after he helped unite England and Scotland. It was the 4th coin issued in 2018 and is one of the crown jewels of the series. The obverse is graced with the 5th effigy of her Majesty.
