Description: Up for sale, a 2017 Fender Traditional ‘60s Mustang in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This discontinued “Made in Japan” iteration of the Mustang platform captures quintessential vintage Mustang aesthetics and tonalities, featuring CTS pots, gray fiber bobbin pickups, 9 1/2“ fretboard radius, and F-stamped tuners. Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, and this Mustang is featherweight at 6lbs 13oz. The crisp, clear voice of the instrument when strummed acoustically translates well through the pickup pair, with meatier sounds at the neck and focused twang at the bridge. Of course, one of the most fun sounds on the Mustang is the out-of-phase setting, engaged when both on/off/on pickup selector switches are at their innermost or outermost points, yielding a quack and spank unique to the Mustang.
