Description: The book is dedicated to highlighting the results of the Volyn archaeological expedition of the HAH Institute of Archeology of Ukraine in 2004-2010 at a multi-layered settlement near the village of Khrinniki of the Demydiv district of the Rivne region under the leadership of D.N. Cossack It is a continuation of the book "Ancient Farmers of Volyn". The book analyzes settlements of the Early Iron Age associated with the Nevrian tribe; of the Pomeranian-Kleosh culture, the bearers of which were the ancestors of the Slavs and Germans. The materials of the Velbar culture, whose creators were the Goths, are examined in detail — an East Germanic tribal association that arrived on the land of Volhynia from the territory of northeastern Poland. The materials of settlements of the Slavic and princely times were also analyzed. The issue of ethnic belonging and socio-economic development of the ancient tribes of Volhynia, certain aspects of their spiritual life are considered.
