2009 Eero Saarinen for Knoll 42" Round Tulip Dining Table White w/ Light Oak Top

Description: This is a Pedestal Dining Table, Model 173O, originally designed in 1956 by Eero Saarinen for Knoll. This particular piece was produced in the USA in 2009. The base is formed of molded cast-aluminum which is coated in a white satin finish. Its top is made of light Oak veneer with a Cathedral grain over medium density fiberboard. The top is finished with a beveled edge, giving the piece its iconic side profile. The Knoll stamp is present on the bottom of the aluminum base. This table measures 42.5 inches diameter, and is 28.25 inches tall. The piece came directly from a Knoll employee and is in good shape. The top’s edge is not chipped. There are several pen marks on the top surface, and some scuffs on the base. Overall, this table is in good condition. Please see photos. The buyer may pick up the furniture, have it shipped by our shipping partners (buyer will pay for full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss potential delivery within reason following the end of the auction.
