Description: We bought this motor in 2016 from a marine business in Prescott, AZ. He sold it to an older guy for a project and they guy never installed it. 8 years later when the guy returned to his project, he decided he wanted an electric start and exchanged this motor which was still factory fresh with the original oil. We confirmed this when checking the oil and lower unit, the engine had never been run. So even though this is a 2008, it went into service in 2016, where we used it for maybe a month out of the year, most years, on Lake Powell, only ever in fresh water. It starts and runs perfectly and has always had regular maintenance of impeller/lower unit oil/engine oil/spark plugs.It has been rock solid reliable, never a single issue or moment of concern. We've never run aground or hit the lower unit on anything. It has the upgraded 4 blade mercury spitfire prop which improves performance substantially. Let me know if you want more pictures... I am not a motivated seller as the engine runs great, but I figured I'd list it and see if there's interest since I'd love electric tilt/trim for lake powell since we beach the boat and drive into canyons all day long.
