This guitar was never played and I added it my collection. I see no blemishes, dents or dings on the entire guitar. It is set up with low action and has original strings that should be changed. All electronics check out. The FSR ’52 Telecaster electric guitar is made in USA; it is a limited edition- only 75 were built. Made with specifications of the ’52 American Vintage Re-issue Tele with upgrades that include thin skin nitrocellulose blonde finish, 1-ply black pickguard and 3-way switch with modern wiring, ash body, and tweed case. One of the longest running production models in Fender history, the Telecaster guitar has been modified only slightly and it’s more than 50 legendary years with it’s great strength, inherent in its classic simplicity. We pay homage to our own with the American Vintage '52 Telecaster. Its premium ash body, one-piece “U“ shaped maple neck with a 7.25 inch radius fingerboard, exudes vintage authenticity, as do the brass bridges saddles and ashtray bridge cover. Vintage style skinny leather strap and grey cable are included. Since its introduction in the early 50’s, guitarists in all musical genres have relied on the Fender Telecaster guitar for its powerful tone and smooth playability. One of the secrets to the Telecasters sound centers on the bridge pickup which is wound more than the neck pickup, hence has a much higher output giving twice the resistance of the neck pickup.A slanting bridge pickup enhances the guitar’s treble tone. The exceptionally light ash body allows the guitar to deliver a clean amplified version of the strings tone. This might be the only guitar out there that is equally adept at country, rock, blues, jazz, punk, and any other musical style. The serial number stamped on the bridge plate is an indication of its authenticity to the 1952 guitar.
