Description: Wounded or Speared Bison 2005 P Reverse Die Crack or Gouge with Spear in the Rear known as sister to Speared Bison from Denver Mint. While it is known there are about 1500 or less of the D (676 @ PCGS, 562 @ NGC and 207 @ ANACS as of Dec 2023, the P has less than 200 slabbed at Anacs and very few with NGC and even fewer if any with PCGS....therefore this coin could be quite rare....a portion of these P slipped into circulation making the Uncs more valuable. The spear or die crack runs from the rump up through the D in United on some strikes and others it runs from the rump into the middle between the D and S of United States....on these slabs the spear runs through the middle between D and S ...take a look at the first pic from a raw coin which is for illustration purposes and you can easily see the die crack....the first pic is not the coin you would receive as the anacs surfaces are generally better than the illustration!!!....price is per one coin.....reasonable offers only...thanks!
