Description: Hi...This Harry Allen "Reality Fruit Bowl" by Areaware is a stunning piece of modern sculptural art that is sure to make a statement in any setting or collection. Crafted from cast resin with a polished silver finish, this bowl is a work of art that is both beautiful and functional. It is the perfect addition to any postmodern contemporary collection, and can also be used as a amazing center piece at your next get together. This unique piece was manufactured in 2005 and is an original from the renowned artist Harry Allen. It measures 10.5 inches in diameter and 3 inches in height, making it the perfect dramatic size for a table top work of art. This highly collectable beauty is very close to perfect but, it does have some light surface wear to the bottom of the piece, not visible from the top. There is a slight flatten spot on the apple but I'm not certain if this is part of the original design or a ding. Please review my pics of the bowl and judge for yourself. Overall in really great vintage condition. I have described this handsome piece as best I can, but additional to my description I have provided several high-resolution images from varying angles to allow for a more detailed review of quality and condition. This comes from a smoke free home. No returns, please. This item will be packaged with care to best ensure it arrives in the same vintage condition as pictured. If you have any questions, corrections, or concerns, please feel free to message me. Or better yet, send me your best offer if you wish. Thank you so much for stopping by. Studio AREAWARE is a New York City based manufacturer of everyday objects that are both functional and unusual. Its goals are to create thoughtful products that inspire an emotional response and to encourage a dialogue between people and their surroundings. We wish to explore design languages as a means of creating new syncretic forms. We like to think that we have a good sense of humor and that our objects are poetic. We aim to create a forum for young and local talent, and together, we hope to become a strong voice for American design. We believe that appreciation for beauty is central to what it means to be alive and want to embody this principle in even the simplest things. Description.
