Description: 2003 Clearwater / Philadelphia Phillies Ruiz #47...Game Used MiLB Baseball Jersey...46 THIS JERSEY IS COOL! I purchased this jersey in 2005 and if I recall, it was worn by Carlos Ruiz. I'm just guessing on the year, but I know that Carlos Ruiz played for the Clearwater Phillies in 2002 and 2003. He wore #4 during those two seasons, if my memory is correct. It looks like there is a #79 written in black Sharpie on the Majestic tag on the front. It's possible that this jersey was worn in spring training by Carlos Ruiz or some other player with the Ruiz name. Honestly, I'm not sure who wore the jersey, other than Ruiz. If you are a Phillies fan, check your spring training rosters from about 2000-2003 and see if you can find a Ruiz with either #47 or #79. I do know that that the authentic style jersey's are never cheap to begin with. That being said, I'm gonna start the bidding out between $200-$300. If I do NOT sell this little gem, that's OK, it will remain in my collection. Like I say, it could be from the Clearwater Phillies anywhere from 1985-2003, or it could just be from the Phillies spring training during those years.
