Description: Mod – a modified choke is designed to provide a 70% pattern within a 30” circle at 35 yards. As the midpoint between cylinder and full, this is a great all-purpose choke. I like it for range use when I don't feel like swapping out chokes. This choke constriction measures .596" with a digital caliper, which is closer to the Browning spec for Improved Modified. This choke shows minimal internal. Externally it shows light thread marks on the skirt, and internally it shows very faint marks and clearly has not seen heavy use. As it came from a gun shop overstock auction, it was probably from a trade-in. The barrel portion of the choke is 1.5" long, with 11/16" of thread, and 5/32" below the thread; typical Invector/Win/Moss dimensions. This is an unbranded choke with the telltale line from Mossberg, but it works just fine in any standard 20 gauge Browning Invector, Winchester Win-choke or Mossberg Accu-choke barrel.The Invector is suitable for use with Browning Invector, Win-choke, Accu-choke, Weatherby IMC, some Smith and Wesson and some Savage 20 gauge chokes. Often referred to as WINCHESTER - BROWNING INV - MOSS 500. Common shotguns include Winchester 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500 and Ranger 120; Mossberg 88, 500, 535, 930, 5500, 5500 MKII or any regular Accu-choke; Browning B325, B425, B525, B625, B725,Citori, Cynergy Field or any 12 gauge Invector barrel; Weatherby Athena, Orion; Savage ONLY using Win-choke/Invector; Smith & Wesson ONLY using Win-Choke/Invector. 20 Gauge.These chokes DO NOT FIT Invector Plus or Invector DS, Accu-Mag, or other variants. This is from gun shop stock, and the choke shows minor evidence of being moved around in inventory. This choke is in excellent condition. There is no original packaging included.
