They are undamaged. If you are interested in only 1 of these spoons, email me and I will revise the listing. Theme shows three soldiers in a kitchen, their helmets are German. The middle soldier is shown wearing a spiked helmet, or Pickelhaube. The soldier on the right wears a greatcoat or military duster. At the top of the spoon are two wading birds, probably storks. In Europe, storks symbolize good luck. On the reverse of the spoon is a seated angel sounding a horn. The angel appears to be Gabriel. This is a WWI collectible item.
