Description: RARE Vintage Hedi Schoop California Pottery Dutch Girl & Boy Vases Figurines Condition: Excellent! Both have a bit of light crazing but No chips or cracks. Both are signed on bottom with Hedi Schoop and GG She is wearing an ivory dress with lavender accents and holding a vase spilling over with tulips on green stems. Her shoes match her dress accent color. Her hat and bib have been carved out and the detail is wonderful. Measures approx: 9” H x 6 1/2” L x 6” W He is wearing a matching outfit and carrying his backpack (vase) on his back. He has a matching hat and shoes. Measures: 10.5” H x 5” L x 4” W I got these at a very nice Estate Sale in Dallas and learned from research that Hedi Schoop Art Creations started in North Hollywood, California in 1940, and produced porcelain figurines, planters, lamps, etc. until 1958 when a fire destroyed the Schoop factory.
