Pirelli offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.The special silica-based tire compound combined with the asymmetric tread pattern improves the all weather traction. The special siping design grips the road well in dry, wet and even in light winter weather. The wet weather traction and hydroplaning resistance are further increased with the tread design’s deep, circumferential and shoulder tread grooves that disperse water and slush from beneath the tire. This ensures a more secure year round road gripping ability.The tread pattern also upgrades the cornering and braking abilities. The asymmetric design’s outside shoulder tread block sequence provides additional biting edges for a boosted cornering and maneuvering ability and power. The outer shoulder block design and the siped continuous ribs together enhance the tire footprint’s rigidity. This ensures that the tire maintains constant road contact and it shortens the braking distance by creating friction at the moment of braking.
