ISBN 88-8118-651-9. In the introduction to the catalog section of the book the author writes that the Rosso catalog was created around 1950.The remarkable variety of colors of the paste, and the numerous techniques for manipulating the glass enlivens the figures. They seem fluid with movement. I have been thrilled every time I look at them, for some 25 years or more now. It has been wonderful to live with the craftsmanship of such masters. The golden or brown colors on the base are actually wax on the base used over the years to stick them securely to glass shelves top of furniture. or th. The bases are clear glass.Dimensions: The man in the white top hat is 15 ⅞” tall and the man with a coat flung over his soldier is 14” tall.
