Description: Description: Nice looking set of 2 Stoneware Designs West pottery bowls (9 1/4" and 5 3/4") in the style of David Cressey Terra Major pieces. Brown glaze dipped in various sizes and pottery composition both rough and smooth. These often get attributed to Cressey's Terra Major / Gourmet Ware but it seems more likely that they're SDW or a related company. In any case, they're very nice and would fit in well with other mid century modern pieces. Large bowl is marked USA 168, small bowl marked USA 169. Condition: In good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. Some light wear and dirt inside from use. Some calcium deposit, light wear to bottom. Excess dripping to each. Bowls are of different stoneware composition. Pops to glaze here and there. Measurements: Large measures about 9 1/4" wide, 4 1/4" tall.
