Description: This auction is for 2 molded plastic Intaglios oval pictures. One is of a duck in a deep red tone coming in for a landing and the other is of a deer in, to me, a black tone. These come from an old estate and are very unique. The deer the duck and the cattails are inlaid in the plaster like material. There is a stamp on the back of each of them that says "H.O. Parsons Original Intaglios California". The deer one has "CORP 1942 HOP"embedded in the plaster on the top front facing edge. These measure approximately 6-7/8 inches across and 10-1//8" tall. They have the old round metal hook on the back for hanging. These are in really good shape considering there age. There are no chips in the outer edge of the duck one and only one little 1/4" chip on the outer edge of the deer one. There are a few minor nicks in the paint on the outer edge of the colored paint on both and the plaster is showing lightly through in spots on the deer one. There is a surface scratch in the paint across the top of the deer. None of these issues takes away from the beauty and uniqueness of these items.
