Description: About 5 1/2 inches tall and 12 inches across. No markings. At least in part hand made folk art pieces...the interior is/was a natural nature scene created with what looks like real human (or fine animal) hair, native plants and wild flowers, and butterflies. Metal mesh borders and thread hold the panels together. Not sure if it is metal bullion thread or not. Used condition with normal wear, dusty dirty, scuffs scratches, butterflies have degraded and fallen apart over the years, small stains, small edge wear spots. No damage that I see, just wear. Not sure of age....believe somewhere between the Victorian era and Art Nouveau period?
