Description: Hey, This pot was made by The Yamaaki kiln. It’s a great old kiln that made pots for decades but stopped in 2010. The kiln is now cold. They made great pots for the price and the shapes/sizes/quality was really bar none. That’s why they were so successful. They continue to rise in value even with so many in circulation. This piece was made by the Founder of the kiln, Shosen. He died in 1990. -never had an oval like this style, plenty of rounds, never an oval.
