In Blue Highways the author travelled across America using the blue highways on a map which are always the backroads. In River-Horse he travels cross country by water and writes the most amazing prose of what he encounters. This copy is excellent. The binding is square and tight and immaculate throughout. The grey boards are spotless and the green cloth spine and gold gilt lettering and decor to the front board and spine are pristine in condition as shown. The book is illustrated with maps and photographs of his journey. The dust jacket is complete and has the original price present on the front flap also as shown in the photos provided. This jacket has very wear. Only some very light soiling to the upper left of the front panel. This copy is that nice and wil make a wonderful addition to any collection or library.
