Description: Up for auction and fresh to the market from fine old estate comes this rare set of (5) Matching Coin Silver Mint Julep Cups made by renowned silversmiths E & D Kinsey, Cincinnati Ohio circa 1844-1861. These are a diminutive size and stand approximately 3" tall and 2-3/8" wide across the top. Great size for Whiskey over ice! Beautifully hand made with applied die-rolled Floral Border at the rim & foot. Only one is engraved on the front and says, Premium 1858 (see photo) and the rest have never been engraved. I have not polished them, but they are not that tarnished. Excellent condition with only 1 tiny shallow ding on the Premium one (see photo) and 2 small dings on the underside of another and that's it. The total weight of the (5) beakers is 395 grams or 12.699 troy oz. Great hard to find matching set!
