Description: 19th C Shaker Small Painted Berry Bucket Pail - Bittersweet Paint Decorated Wooden miniature Shaker berry bucket / pail, paint decorated with original bittersweet paint, tapered wood stave construction, wire bail & wooden handle, two metal diamond-form escutcheons, two metal iron bands that are not loose with traces of black paint, with white painted interior. Circa 19th century. CONDITION Very good overall condition with no issues, expected moderate wear consistent with age and normal usage over the decades. APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS 3 1/2'' rim height, 4-1/2'' diameter top rim, 3-1/4'' base diameter.
