Joint venture...the crane of the Semac 1 semi-submersible pipelay barge conveys two 28-inch diameter line pipes from a hauling vessel onto the barge's deck. The Semac 1 recently was used in the construction of a pipeline in the South China Sea connecting Hong Kong to the Yacheng 13-1 field off Hainan Island.
