At the bottom of the border the year of issue «1991». The reverse: In the center of the coin is an image of the Archangel Cathedral in Moscow. The date «1508» is shown to the right of the Cathedral. At the top along the outer rim of the coin is a semicircular inscription «АРХАНГЕЛЬСКИЙ СОБОР» (CATHEDRAL OF THE ARCHANGEL). Below the inscription «МОСКВА» (MOSCOW) and the image of the ornament. The edge: Two inscriptions "ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ" (FIVE RUBLES), between them two five - pointed stars. Autors: The artist: A.V. Baklanov. The sculptor: I.S. Koomshilov.
