Description: This is an offer of the complete Base Set of 1991 Classic 'Four-Sport' Rookie. In the early 1990s, a slick card-maker known as Classic briefly appeared, and over a period of about five (05) years produced numerous popular sports card sets -- mostly featuring athletes who had been drafted by professional teams -- but -- had not yet performed professionally. None of the Classic sets proved to have been terribly valuable, due to massive over-production by Classic. But ... Classic can be credited with bringing about the era of the value of the so-called 'pre-rookie' card, which persists to this day. For example, this set features the first-ever 'Brett Favre' card -- pictured in his college uniform at the University of Southern Mississippi.
