1989 OPC Box #3, Rice, Cal Ripken, Nolan Ryan, Schmidt, MINT Pair, Both Shades

Description: This lot consists of a pair of 1989 OPeeChee MLB display #3 boxes on both the more common grey stock and the less common cream stock, both of course featuring Red Sox' Jim Rice, Orioles' Cal Ripken, Astros' Nolan Ryan, and Phillies' Mike Schmidt, . On the box top is Jose Canseco and on the side are smaller folded versions of the Kirk Gibson and Mike Greenwell. This is specialized stuff, and collectors tell me that there are slight difference on the fronts as well. Condition is as mint as you can get, despite being folded up, and if you factor in how many of these were scratched up on store shelves, etc., these nice mint ones are quite scarce, and are a great addition to your collection or framed and hung on the wall.
