Description: Handsome placemat road map of the Hawaiian island of Kauai, published by Sheraton Hotels circa 1987. This scalloped-edge paper placemat measures 10" x 14" and locates three Sheraton hotels on the island: Sheraton Kauai, Sheraton Coconut Beach, and Sheraton Princeville. It also shows roads and locates points of interest, and a distance table gives mileages to various destinations from Lihue. Condition: This placemat is in very good, lightly used condition, with no rips or tears. It has been folded to approximately 5" x 7", and a previous owner has written the title on the reverse side. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions. There is no printed year of publication, and the placemat dates from the late 1980s, circa 1987. It was printed after the Sheraton Princeville opened (1985) and before the Sheraton Kauai was destroyed by Hurricane Iniki (1992). When the Sheraton Kauai reopened in 1997, the Outrigger Room, labeled in the upper corner of this map, was renamed Shells. Buy with confidence!
