Description: 1986 Topps Garbage Pail Kids ROY Bot & Ashcan ANDY Pocket Folder (As-Is) Description Up for sale is a vintage Topps branded Garbage Pail Kids folder from 1986. This folder features ROY Bot (a trading card with the copyright of 1986 on it) on the front and Ashcan Andy (a trading card with the copyright date of 1985 on it) on the rear. This folder was used for school back in the day and exhibits a fair amount of wear on it; specifically on the perforated holes which were torn completely open and then held together by paper ring holes (that were designed specifically to prevent this kind of thing). Anyways, the wear and tear is mostly visible when the folder is opened as the damage on the holes is immediately visible and what have you. Aside from that wear and tear there are also some scuff marks and other noticeable blemishes; appearing in the form of crease marks and finish loss brought on by overall use and whatnot; mostly appearing along the rounded corners at the top of the folder as well as along the bottom more box-like but yet still rounded corners at the bottom. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say this folder was passable at a 7 more or less. The inside pocket on the right also showcases three additional Garbage Pail Kids (i.e. Garbage Man, Kid Brother, and Big Sister) listed as being Wanted For Disturbing the Peace. This folder also lists the trademark of Garbage Pail Kids as being licensed to Topps Chewing Gum, Inc. and it also indicates was exclusively manufactured by Bright Ideas, Inc. and there's also a marketing heads up that states Look for Folders 9-12, coming soon to a store near you! The UPC code located on the inside pocket towards the left hand side reads 0 32259 01010 3. This folder measures approximately 11 & 13/16" tall by 9 & 3/4" wide (when closed) and 19.5" wide when opened. While this may not be the best looking retro vintage collectible out there... it still a collectible nonetheless; despite of its cosmetic blemishes and whatnot.
