1985 Suzuki Lt 185

Description: This is a 1st generation quad made by Suzuki. It is in good condition for its age. It hadn't run in many years, but I not only got it running, but it runs like a Banshee!It really wasn't difficult, as it obviously didn't have many hours on it. It got new oil and plug, I rebuilt the fuel pump, and installed a new primer. Also installed and adjusted, new brakes. Check out the video! I have more video of it going through all gears, but they limit the amount of video here. I took this with one hand, so the wheelies were a bit unexpected! It has four forward gears and reverse, which are all working perfectly, with an automatic clutch system. It has new brakes, and a spare set for the future, a spare new diaphragm primer too. The tires hold air for several days, but one has a bit of a flat spot from sitting, so it could use new ones, it is ridable as it is, but recommended to replace them. The front plastic is very good but has been painted orange, the right mudflap has a wear hole in it. The back plastic however is rough, and been glued in many spots, a new back set is needed, but the flaps are good. The seat needs recovering, there are several holes that I put silicone in. The frame is 99% rust free, just some light surface rust in a few areas... The suspension is fully functional, steering is perfect, no speedometer or brake light, but the headlight works on high and low. Throttle is responsive and smooth, no significant leaks, and it starts first pull. Handgrips and brake lever are very nice... This is a 40 year old classic machine, it runs incredible, with no driving issues. It starts, drives, steers and stops very well. Being 40 years old, it will need regular maintenance, but as it sits, it's ready to run! There are a few parts that could use replacement, so you could take it to a full restoration, or just dial it in for daily fun, for years to come. My favorite part is that it's 4 stroke, no battery, no electronics, no key, and it's pull start :) ... It's sold as-is, where is, as described. No warranty expressed or implied. It was purchased at an estate sale of a person who passed. There is no title, I only received a receipt for the purchase, so I will write a bill of sale along with your eBay receipt.. Local pickup is preferred, but I can deliver it within a 50 mile radius of 78606, for a small fee. I will not be able to ship this, unless you handle all aspects of doing so. I'm willing to deliver it to a shipping site within 50 miles, for a small fee. I hate selling it, but I'm not able to ride it much due to health concerns. You'll love this machine... Make an offer!
