It extends from in front of Lincoln's ear as a bubble that goes to his eye, then from there, it extends to the edge of the coin. The whole obverse and reverse fields are also "orange peel" in texture. This neat error is graded and encapsulated by PCGS as PR64 Red DCAM Deep Cameo. Coin is attractive with nice bright red color.
