Description: 1983 Japanese Original Art Signed "Reiko", Could It Be Reiko Shimizu? I don't know. Reiko Shimizu got her start in shōjo manga in 1983. This illustration has some of the same style as her illustration work, the stippled airbrush background, light etherial forms. It measures about 24 x 27 cm, and is painted on cardboard with gold foil edges, foil paper on back. Front is signed "Love Reiko." On back side is hand-written, "To my 'tomodachi,' Mr. Scott / Love Reiko May '83." Condition is good, but there is a noticeable corner bend upper left, and light corner bump lower right.
