1982 ATARI VCS CX-2600 A ~ 4 Switch Game Console

Description: 1982 ATARI VCS CX-2600 A ~ 4 Switch Game Console Complete 1982 Atari VCS 4 switch System package in original box with everything as when new. From top to bottom the console still looks almost fresh out of the box from Atari. Has all the appropriate paperwork, box and insert and packing materials. I have included a cable screw in adapter. The outer box shows some wear, but is clean and intact and has all the flaps, NICE Condition all around. A couple of the cardboard packing insert boxes are missing, one has a slight tear. The console has been tested & literally works like new and is in Very Good condition overall, but does show use. Some scuffs, but the unit never saw daylight (basement game room), so the colors on console & controllers are as vibrant as the day they came out of the box Christmas morn. All 4 switches and joystick ports work as they should, & the difficulty switches were also checked. Original transformer included, natch. All Paddles & Joysticks are intact, cosmetically VG, & tested for functionality. BRAND NEW RCA to Coax Adapter, bought for testing, is included so you can use this on any TV with a coax input (attached to output cable). You will need to set your TV to either channel 2 or 3, and move the console channel switch accordingly. Original Instruction Manual, Warranty Card, and Atari catalog included, all in excellent condition. The original "Combat" Cartridge & instruction booklet is included, tho the booklet shows some water damage on one corner. "Pac-Man," and instruction booklet included. "Missile Command" Cartridge included, but booklet missing. I have printed out (in B/W) instruction manuals for "Combat" & "Missile Command" & can email COLOR pdf files of both, upon request. In addition, I've thrown in a circular from original the local cartridge exchange shop; & a slightly water damaged book on mastering Pac-Man, which in perfect condition would be a $20 value. There were two nicks in the output cable sheath plastic, exposing, but not damaging the copper below. I repaired both with black silicone (see final pix). These were the only repairs needed on this otherwise well-cared for console. Comes from a smoke-free home, and has been stored in room-temperature, dry environment.
