Description: Presented here is a 1981 UE Parker 15 France CT Brushed Steel Midnight Blue Fountain Pen. Experience the streamlined style and sleek construction of this Parker 15 that is Made in France. It features a brushed steel cap with the iconic chrome arrow clip and a midnight (dark) blue barrel. The cap is signed PARKER – UE – MADE IN FRANCE – Logo. UE is the date code for Q1 of 1981. It is fitted with a Parker logo signed Stainless Steel nib that is not marked for size but writes like a Fine (see pic of writing sample). The feed is marked 2 and the section is shiny black. It comes with a used/empty cartridge that I lightly filled to test the pen. It can be fitted with a Parker cartridge or filled from an ink bottle using a Parker converter. This pen has no personalization on its cap or barrel. It measures 4.92” long capped and 0.4” wide. This fountain pen is in very good to excellent pre-owned vintage condition. The cap barely has any visible scratches, and the brushed steel construction serves well to hide any. The barrel has superficial scratches consistent with age and use. It has some bite marks at the bottom but no cracks (see pic with the bite mark highlighted). The nib, feed and section are clean and function well. It is a smooth writer that is a joy to write with. Markings are crisp and clear. I have included several pictures of the Pen and its parts. Please review them carefully as they are part of the description.
