Description: Gas tank from a 1977 Yamaha XS750-2D. Tank is in very nice, original condition, no dents or dings, no leaks. Inside is clean, shiny, original metal throughout, has been fogged with a corrosion inhibitor to prevent flash, ready for use. Cosmetically I would rate it about an 8 out of 10. The paint is original and presents very well with minor imperfections, slight aging in areas of the clearcoat and small chips as shown in the pictures, paint wear from the seat rubbing (cannot be seen when mounted). Would be great on everything short of a museum restoration. These tanks have been long discontinued by Yamaha and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find nice, original examples like this one.
