Product Details 1977 Fender JazzMaster We are excited to present this rare 1977 Fender JazzMaster, a vintage treasure with a stunning sunburst finish. Although the neck and pickup dates indicate a 1976 production, the S7 serial number suggests it was shipped in 1977. This guitar is in excellent condition for its age, with only minor wear and replacement parts. The neck is in great shape, nearly straight with no significant issues, and the truss rod functions perfectly in both directions. The frets are about 60% remaining in the most worn areas, and the electronics are in excellent condition with no scratchy knobs. The ash body gives this JazzMaster a unique sound, punchier and more articulate than the 60s models. It handles distortion beautifully, making it perfect for rock and other genres. This guitar has been set up without shims, ensuring great playability. Replacement parts include recent F-key tuners, nut, frets, pots (2), jack, pickguard, strap pins, arm, and a modern Fender USA bridge. There is a repair on the top of the 1st string tuner and evidence of a relocated string guide. A recent Fender USA hard case (black tolex) is included, ensuring your vintage JazzMaster is well protected.
