ITEM DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is a RARE, vintage, dated 1977, "Eskimo Drawings" calendar featuring 12 different lithographs from various Inuit artists living in Arctic Quebec, Canada, depicting Inuit culture. The Inuit artists include Peter and Minnie Morgan (8), Billy Morgan (1), Tivi Paningina (2) and Tivi Etok (1). The lithographs in this calendar were all taken from original felt pen drawings by the Inuit artists. The outer sleeve for the calendar is also included, which does show wear with tear to one side, along with foxing/age toning. The 12 lithographic prints are in excellent condition with no real damage. Ready for framing. The top ring section of the calendar has 2 rings in the upper left corner that have separated from the paper. See 3rd photo for close-up. The calendar measures 12 5/8" by 13". The Inuit drawings used for the calendar were all done in 1975. A list of the artists and the subject matter for each drawing are given on the back page of the calendar. See last photo.
